Not all website visitors are friendly. Some are malicious bots (a bot is an automated software application). One thing bots can do is card testing. They make low value orders to see if stolen card numbers still work. That is why we protect our checkout with the Cloudflare Turnstile security challenge. It works in the background, picking up clues about visitors to decide if they are human or bots. Most human traffic will get a pass without any action on the part of the visitor. If there is any doubt, a tick box will be displayed to gather further data.
On very rare occasions, the security challenge goes into a continuous loop. This usually indicates there is something about your setup that is hindering the challenge from being successfully executed.
A quick fix is to use a different web browser or computing device. Browsers that normally work well with the security challenge are: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and Safari.
If a different web browser or computer doesn’t solve the problem, try from a different network, for example, an iPhone using roaming data. You can download your order from your original device, once the transaction is complete.
If you don’t have access to another computing device or network, here are some other things to try:
- Confirm that cookies are enabled.
- Ensure that JavaScript is enabled.
- Clear your browser cache and cookies: Refer to the guides below on how to clear your browser cache and cookies based on your preferred browser.
- Some browser extensions can hinder the challenge from being successfully executed. To check this, disable all your extensions and reload the page.
- Ensure that you are not behind a VPN or proxy.
If you have tried different web browsers and/or devices without success, please contact us, giving as much information as you can so we can look for a solution.
